Pan Seared Chicken with Whiskey Soy Sauce

I was feeling like something easy tonight and I wanted something yummy to go with some roasted cauliflower. Pan seared chicken was easy and the sauce was easy and delicious as well.

Need:
chicken breast, sliced lengthwise
s+p and garlic powder
shot of whiskey
some soy sauce
some chopped garlic
some chopped ginger
a little sugar

Season chicken with s+p and garlic powder and pan sear both sides. It's so thin that it will cook through pretty quickly.

Prep your sauce ingredients. Using the same pan you seared the chicken in, add a little oil, the garlic and ginger. Then add whiskey, soy sauce, and sugar and cook down until it gets a little thick. Strain out garlic and ginger.

Spoon over chicken breast filets.

I'll tell you how to make the cauliflower next...
