I made this a couple of months ago after coming home from a camping trip where it rained. All. Night. Long. We cut out a day early (we were only there for one night) and came home. It rained on the way home too. I was feeling like I needed to be warmed from the inside and I had some great stuff in the fridge/freezer, so I made a bouillabaisse. I didn't have much for shellfish, though. I would just add whatever fishes/shellfishes you like.
Need:
cod
tilapia
shrimp
crab
chopped fennel bulb
chopped onion
red potatoes in 1 inch chunks
can of tomatoes
white wine
broth
Saute onion and fennel in a little olive oil. Add tomatoes and let cook for a little while. Then add wine and broth. Then add potatoes. Add fishes, cut into 1 inch chunks. Then crab. Shrimp last and when you're almost ready to eat. I ate this with crusty sourdough bread. YuM!
