Banh Canh

This is a Vietnamese noodle soup that has thick, udon-like noodles that tends to make the soup very thick. If you have no dough skills, like me, you can buy pre-made noodles at the Asian grocery store that work just fine.

Need:
Banh Canh noodles
ground pork
shrimp, minced
chopped white onion
minced garlic
fish sauce
soy sauce
sesame oil
chicken broth

These are banh canh noodles. You find them near the tofu at the Asian grocery store.

Mix together ground pork, minced shrimp, chopped onions, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil, s+p.

Then cook up the meat mixture.

Until its completely cooked.

Add broth, then noodles and bring to a rolling boil.

Serve garnished with lime juice, sliced green onions, and chili pepper flake sauce. Awesome in a bowl. I usually add rice to this too.
